Included in your personal quotation for car hire is the standard vehicle insurance

 

This standard cover is a “collision damage waiver“ (CDW) or “fully comprehensive” cover. for the hirer and any additional drivers on the rental agreement.

In summary the cover is for damage to the hired vehicle, theft/vandilism of the vehicle and a comprehensive 3rd party cover (see our full terms and conditions for further details) However CDW will normally carry an excess amount due payable in the event of any claim.

The excess  on  buggs vehicles is Group A cars 800€, group B cars 1000€, Group C & E cars 1200€, group D cars 1400€ (drivers under 25 years old 1500€)

However by purchasing our optional “buggs bonus” package (excess waiver option), when completing your online booking form you can illiminate the excess risk

Please note insurance does not cover wheels and tyres. Excess payments on windscreens is variable dependant on vehicle.
